R8 Revolver | Leafhopper

R8 Revolver | Leafhopper is a CS2 pistol skin with an Anodized finish built around dark green metalwork. Gold-colored accents and a pale silvery-green grip give the revolver a restrained metallic contrast. Its understated appearance suits green loadouts and players who prefer material detail over large graphics. All exterior grades are available, alongside Souvenir versions.

Description

R8 Revolver | Leafhopper gives the CS2 revolver a green-and-gold finish without covering its mechanical details in artwork. The weapon combines powerful, accurate shots with a lengthy trigger pull. Rapid hammer-fanning provides another firing approach when fighting at close range. Across the barrel housing, frame, and cylinder, dark green surfaces carry glossy highlights and subtle bronze shading. Gold-colored hardware contrasts with the pale, textured grip, keeping the separate weapon parts visually distinct. This palette suits players seeking an understated pistol with metallic accents rather than a bold graphic centerpiece. Documented owners include professional players NBK-, kRYSTAL, and Freeman, although ownership alone does not establish market demand. Buyers can compare regular and Souvenir copies, then narrow their choice by exterior and exact float value.

History and Origin

R8 Revolver | Leafhopper entered CS2 on March 31, 2025. It arrived as part of The Boreal Collection in the "Spring 2025 Skins" update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. Today, the Steam Community Market provides a route to buying an existing copy. Player-to-player trading offers another way to obtain the skin through an agreed exchange. Trade Up Contracts provide a separate acquisition route using Consumer Grade inputs from The Boreal Collection. Those contracts select an Industrial Grade result randomly, so Leafhopper is a possible outcome rather than a guaranteed reward. Leafhopper is an Industrial Grade R8 Revolver finish in The Boreal Collection.

Finish Style

Leafhopper uses an Anodized finish with dark green covering the revolver's main metal surfaces. Its green base receives a light color case-hardening treatment using wood charcoal at high temperatures. Glossy highlights and bronze-toned shading add depth across the barrel housing, frame, and cylinder. Gold-colored accents pick out the top rail, sights, lower front assembly, and trigger. The grip changes to pale silvery green, creating a clear visual break from the darker frame. Pronounced finger grooves and a fine dotted side texture give the handle detail without introducing decorative artwork. Small dark screws and recessed lines interrupt the smooth metalwork with compact mechanical features. The overall appearance relies on contrasting metal tones and surface texture, not a large illustration or bold graphic pattern.

Float Value

The R8 Revolver | Leafhopper float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.65098. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Regular and Souvenir versions are available; these version labels are separate from the exterior and float used to identify cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

R8 Revolver | Leafhopper belongs to the Industrial Grade rarity tier in The Boreal Collection. Its stated chance within the collection is 1.78%, which should not be treated as a guaranteed trade-up result. The collection drop chance corresponds to about 1 in 56 drops.

Why it’s Popular:

• Dark green metalwork with restrained gold-colored accents

• Textured silvery-green grip contrasts with the frame

• All exterior grades offer different condition choices

• Souvenir versions provide an additional collecting option

Price Range

The live R8 Revolver | Leafhopper price range is $0.01 to $4.54. Regular copies occupy a low entry-price bracket, while Souvenir listings sit at a higher price level. That distinction makes the version label important when comparing the CS2 skin price across listings. Within each version, check the exterior and exact float to identify a suitable condition rather than choosing by price alone. Anyone looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare copies with matching version and condition details before judging an offer.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

Trade Up Contracts use 10 Consumer Grade skins from The Boreal Collection to produce 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. Leafhopper is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing R8 Revolver | Leafhopper listing on the Steam Community Market, checking its exterior, float, and version. Direct purchase allows selection of a particular copy instead of relying on a random trade-up outcome.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain Leafhopper through a player-to-player trade using an agreed exchange of items. Before accepting, check the revolver's exterior, exact float, and whether the offered copy is regular or Souvenir.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Regular and Souvenir copies form distinct price-comparison groups, even though both share the Leafhopper finish. Professional ownership offers visibility, but does not establish how quickly a listing will sell. Supply trends and price history remain uncertain, so matched listings provide a sounder comparison than assumptions about scarcity or short-term appreciation.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Low entry cost for regular copies

• Souvenir versions add a collecting option

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive green-and-gold Anodized finish

The investment rating is medium, reflecting low regular-copy prices, Souvenir options, and documented professional ownership rather than proven market growth. The main risk is uncertain resale demand and future supply, so an inexpensive purchase should not be mistaken for evidence of future gains.
