R8 Revolver | Bone Forged

R8 Revolver | Bone Forged is a CS2 pistol skin that pairs dark metal with skeletal sea-creature artwork. Its ivory, gray and black grip stands out against the charcoal barrel and cylinder. The restrained palette suits players who prefer detailed, organic imagery without bright colors. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

R8 Revolver | Bone Forged gives the R8 pistol a marine skeletal theme, concentrating its artwork on the grip rather than the entire weapon. Its Gunsmith finish combines an illustrated handle with a darker, textured metal body. The underlying revolver combines accuracy and power with a slow trigger action. Rapidly working the hammer provides its faster firing option for close-range encounters. Visually, pale bone shapes give the handle a clear focal point while the barrel and cylinder remain restrained. This balance suits players looking for a monochrome pistol with intricate details rather than broad blocks of color. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide different ownership options without changing the finish's central theme. Buyers comparing CS2 skin listings should separate version choice from exterior and float value, then inspect the appearance of the individual copy.

History and Origin

The finish entered CS:GO on March 31, 2020, before becoming available to use in CS2. It arrived with the Prisma 2 Case through the Prisma 2 Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer Blazer created the artwork. The skin belongs to The Prisma 2 Collection, linking its collection identity to its original case release. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Prisma 2 Case drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so the original acquisition route remains available despite that retirement. Buyers can also obtain a finished copy directly through Eneba Skins or the Steam Community Market. Player-to-player trading offers another current route, distinct from opening the case that introduced the skin.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish uses a detailed grip painting alongside a mostly dark metal body. Charcoal and black dominate the barrel, receiver and cylinder, keeping the upper portion visually subdued. Silvery highlights and fine textured markings break up those dark surfaces without replacing the main palette. A row of pale diagonal accents follows the upper rail and adds a linear detail above the cylinder. The trigger and trigger guard retain a gray metal appearance, separating them from the painted handle. Ivory, gray and black cover the grip in an illustration based on the skeletal remains of an ancient sea creature. Curving bone-like lines, ribbed forms and dark hollow shapes extend through the artwork to the grip's base. That dense illustration contrasts with the restrained metal components, giving the finish its distinctive combination of mechanical surfaces and organic forms.

Float Value

R8 Revolver | Bone Forged has a float range of 0.00 to 0.60. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of those exterior categories is excluded. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, with version availability remaining separate from the cosmetic condition of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

R8 Revolver | Bone Forged carries the Mil-Spec Grade rarity classification. Its skin-specific chance from the Prisma 2 Case is 11.42%, which describes the opening odds rather than the availability of a particular listing. Professional players dupreeh, TaZ and tarik own the skin, although their ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Skeletal sea-creature artwork gives the grip a distinct identity

• Dark metal and ivory details suit restrained loadout colors

• All exterior grades offer a broad choice of cosmetic conditions

• Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide different collecting options

Price Range

The live R8 Revolver | Bone Forged price range is $0.16 to $15.00. Its low price level makes it an accessible pistol purchase, but that alone says little about future resale performance. Exterior and float value help distinguish copies, so compare their actual condition rather than relying only on the exterior label. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should be evaluated separately instead of assuming that they share the same pricing. Before choosing to buy, sell or trade, match each listing's version, float and visible finish against its asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Prisma 2 Case

Opening the Prisma 2 Case offers an 11.42% chance of receiving this skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. Buying a finished copy instead avoids the uncertainty of receiving another case result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for R8 Revolver | Bone Forged without opening its case. Check the available listing's exterior, float and version before buying, rather than treating every copy with the same finish name as interchangeable.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the finish through a player-to-player trade for a copy another owner already holds. Confirm the exact item, exterior, float and version in the exchange before accepting, especially when comparing regular, StatTrak and Souvenir options.

Trading and Investment Considerations

New Prisma 2 Cases no longer enter supply through drops, but openings of existing cases can still produce additional Bone Forged copies. Professional ownership provides some visibility, while available market information does not establish listing volume, consistent buyer demand or a price-growth trend. Traders should compare matching versions and exteriors rather than treating the broad skin price range as evidence of an easy resale opportunity.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Source case supply is no longer replenished through drops

• Distinctive skeletal artwork gives the finish a clear identity

• Ownership by professional players provides visibility

• Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer collecting variety

The investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting an inexpensive Mil-Spec Grade skin without established demand or price-growth evidence. Retired case supply and professional ownership provide positive context for holding a copy. The main risk is that continued openings and uncertain buyer demand can outweigh the supply benefit of case retirement.
