Moto Gloves | Eclipse

★ Moto Gloves | Eclipse is a CS2 glove skin with bulky knuckle protection and a predominantly black and dark gray finish. Yellow accents and lighter gray panels add contrast without overwhelming the restrained design. The look suits players building a dark loadout with a small amount of bright detailing. It is available from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, without StatTrak™ or Souvenir editions.

Description

★ Moto Gloves | Eclipse brings a dark motorcycle-glove design to the handwear portion of a CS2 loadout. Its black and gray surfaces provide the background for yellow accents across the back, wrist and finger panels. Large raised knuckle guards give the gloves a substantial silhouette, with smooth surfaces that catch bright highlights. Stitched seams and segmented padding keep the finish visually detailed despite its limited color palette. The yellow markings provide a distinct feature for buyers who want something beyond plain black gloves. Eclipse suits players who prefer restrained colors but still want visible contrast around the hands. Buyers can choose among Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred copies. Comparing the actual gloves, their exterior and their float helps distinguish individual listings rather than treating every Eclipse pair as interchangeable.

History and Origin

★ Moto Gloves | Eclipse debuted in CS:GO on November 28, 2016, alongside the Glove Case. Its release formed part of the Glove Case Skins update, establishing its origin as a case-based glove finish. Valve created the design, rather than a community designer. The Operation Hydra Case also offers an opening route to Eclipse, giving the finish another source besides its original release case. As of October 9, 2026, both cases no longer drop following the rare drop pool's retirement on December 17, 2025. Existing Glove Case and Operation Hydra Case inventories can still be bought and opened, so retirement did not eliminate the case-opening route. Buyers seeking a particular exterior can instead obtain an existing pair through the Steam Community Market or a trade with another player.

Finish Style

Eclipse uses a bulky motorcycle-glove shape, with hard knuckle guards standing above the surrounding material. Black and dark gray dominate the design, while lighter gray panels break up the fingers and cuffs. The large knuckle guards have smooth surfaces and bright highlights that contrast with the more textured sections. A curved yellow stripe crosses the back of one glove, providing a clear accent against the dark base. Small yellow markings near the wrist continue that accent without covering the cuff in a large graphic. Yellow geometric outlines also decorate several finger panels on the palm-facing glove, adding detail to another visible surface. Stitched seams, segmented finger padding and ribbed sections give the construction a layered appearance. Together, these elements create a restrained finish whose visual identity comes from protective shapes, surface texture and carefully placed yellow details.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Moto Gloves | Eclipse is 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with none of those exterior categories missing. Neither StatTrak nor Souvenir versions exist, so version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition represented by exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Moto Gloves | Eclipse belongs to the Extraordinary rarity grade. The chance of obtaining this specific finish from the Glove Case is 0.011%, so opening that case does not provide a reliable way to target it. Eclipse is one of 94 glove skins and has documented ownership by professional players DANK1NG and koala.

Why it’s Popular:

• Black and gray styling suits restrained loadouts

• Yellow accents provide contrast without a busy graphic

• Raised knuckle guards give the gloves a distinctive silhouette

• Detailed stitching and padding add texture to the dark finish

Price Range

The live ★ Moto Gloves | Eclipse price range is $77.93 to $898.99. These bounds cover the whole skin and should not be treated as fixed prices for particular exteriors. Buyers can compare listings across Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, checking the exact float within each exterior. There are no StatTrak or Souvenir editions to separate into additional version categories. A useful CS2 skin price comparison pairs the current asking price with the listed condition and an inspection of the actual glove surfaces.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Eclipse can be obtained by opening a Glove Case or an Operation Hydra Case. Neither case receives new drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. The Glove Case chance for this finish is 0.011%, making a case opening an uncertain route when the goal is specifically Eclipse.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct buying route for an existing pair of Eclipse gloves instead of a randomized case outcome. Buyers should check the exterior and float of the listing they are considering, rather than relying only on the finish name. Inspecting the gloves also helps connect the stated condition with the copy being purchased.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain Eclipse by trading with another player who already owns a pair. A trade allows the participants to evaluate a specific exterior and float before agreeing to the exchange. Both sides should confirm the item identity and condition, especially when comparing offers involving different glove exteriors.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases receive no new drops, but opening existing stock can still add Eclipse gloves to circulation. Documented professional ownership supports some interest, while price information concentrated in Factory New leaves broader demand and long-term trends uncertain. When deciding to buy, sell or trade, the practical comparison is between individual exteriors, floats and asking prices, not the finish name alone.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Extraordinary rarity with low Glove Case odds

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive dark styling with yellow accents

The investment rating is medium: retired source cases, Extraordinary rarity and professional ownership offer support, but do not establish sustained resale demand. The main risk is uncertain demand across the exterior range, especially when a purchase price lacks comparable listings for the same condition.
