M9 Bayonet | Tiger Tooth

★ M9 Bayonet | Tiger Tooth is a CS2 knife skin with a golden-orange blade and dark brown tiger stripes. A dark charcoal handle offsets the bright finish, while a silver-colored cutting edge adds a narrow contrasting line. Its animal-patterned look suits players who prefer warm colors and strong contrast in their loadout. Factory New and Minimal Wear copies are available in standard and StatTrak™ versions, with no Souvenir edition.

Description

★ M9 Bayonet | Tiger Tooth applies an orange-and-brown striped finish to the M9 Bayonet knife in CS2. The weapon was originally intended for mounting on a rifle, while also serving as a close-quarters blade. Its patterned blade face provides the main visual focus, leaving the dark handle comparatively restrained. An oval blade opening and pronounced spine teeth remain visible within the design. The golden-orange guard and muzzle ring carry the blade's color into the hardware above the grip. This combination suits players who want a bright knife without extending the animal pattern across every surface. Exterior choices are limited to Factory New and Minimal Wear, giving buyers a focused selection of cosmetic conditions. Individual listings can then be compared by exact float value and standard or StatTrak version before choosing a copy.

History and Origin

★ M9 Bayonet | Tiger Tooth was released in CS:GO on January 8, 2015, alongside the Chroma Case. Its introduction was part of the Chroma Case Skins update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. The Chroma 2 Case and Chroma 3 Case also provide case-opening routes to this knife. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, changing the future supply of its source cases. As of October 9, 2026, none of these Chroma cases receives new drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement has not removed the case-opening route. Players seeking an existing knife can instead use the Steam Community Market or arrange a player-to-player trade.

Finish Style

Tiger Tooth uses the Anodized Multicolored finish style, giving the M9 Bayonet a bright, patterned metal appearance. Orange anodizing establishes the base color, while hand-etched tiger markings create the stripe motif across the blade. The visible stripes are dark brown and vary in width and angle rather than forming a uniform banded layout. Broad golden-orange gaps separate those markings, keeping the bright base color prominent throughout the blade face. A thin silver-colored cutting edge contrasts with the patterned surface, while the oval opening interrupts the blade's outline. Pronounced teeth along the spine add another visible contour to its profile. The guard and muzzle ring are also golden orange, extending the warm color beyond the blade itself. The charcoal handle has raised segmented bands and a fine textured surface instead of continuing the tiger pattern. Concentrating the stripes on the blade gives the finish a clear contrast between decorated metal and the plain dark grip.

Float Value

The float value of ★ M9 Bayonet | Tiger Tooth ranges from 0.00 to 0.08. Its only exteriors are Factory New and Minimal Wear, with no Field-Tested, Well-Worn, or Battle-Scarred copies. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version; version availability is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ M9 Bayonet | Tiger Tooth has the Covert rarity grade, which is separate from its Factory New or Minimal Wear exterior. Its drop chance from the Chroma Case is 0.0085%, making that specific knife result an unlikely outcome from an opening. Professional players known to own the skin include mixwell, rallen, and DANK1NG.

Why it’s Popular:

• Golden-orange color paired with distinctive dark tiger stripes

• Strong contrast between the patterned blade and charcoal handle

• Factory New and Minimal Wear exterior choices

• StatTrak availability for players who prefer a tracked version

Price Range

The live ★ M9 Bayonet | Tiger Tooth price range is $544.84 to $1,122.95. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than assigning a fixed price to a particular exterior or version. Compare Factory New and Minimal Wear listings separately, checking the exact float value within each exterior. Standard and StatTrak options also deserve separate comparisons because the version is independent of cosmetic condition. Before deciding to buy, match the exterior and version, then inspect the blade preview alongside the current asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Chroma Case, Chroma 2 Case, or Chroma 3 Case for a chance at this knife. None receives new drops, but existing cases can still be purchased and opened. The Tiger Tooth chance from the Chroma Case is 0.0085%, so opening a case does not ensure this specific result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for an existing ★ M9 Bayonet | Tiger Tooth rather than a random case result. Check whether the listing is standard or StatTrak, then confirm its Factory New or Minimal Wear exterior and exact float.

4. Trade with Other Players

An existing copy can be obtained through a player-to-player trade, avoiding the uncertainty of a case opening. Confirm the item name, exterior, float, and StatTrak status before comparing the proposed exchange with current listings.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Chroma cases no longer receive new drops, although opening existing cases can still add copies of this knife to circulation. Professional ownership provides visibility, but it does not establish current buyer demand or resale speed. For a buy, sell, or trade decision, compare like-for-like exteriors and versions rather than treating every Tiger Tooth listing as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Source cases no longer receive new drops

• Ownership by mixwell, rallen, and DANK1NG

• Distinctive golden-orange blade with dark tiger stripes

• Standard and StatTrak options support different buyer preferences

The investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by retired source cases and documented professional ownership. Existing cases can still produce additional knives, so retirement does not make the skin's supply fixed. Its substantial purchase cost and uncertain resale demand remain the main risks, with no assured return from holding it.
