About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes the exterior condition associated with float value. This knife comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred; compare the exact float and listing image rather than judging condition from the exterior label alone.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity classifies skins into grades associated with their acquisition odds. This knife is Covert, with a 0.0085% chance from the Gamma Case; that figure applies to this item, not every Covert skin.

How much does the ★ M9 Bayonet | Autotronic cost?

The live range is $475.03 to $1,929.21. Compare each listing's exterior, float and version; the bounds cover the whole skin.

Which cases contain the ★ M9 Bayonet | Autotronic?

The Gamma Case and Gamma 2 Case contain this knife. Neither case drops anymore, but existing cases can still be bought and opened.

What float range and exteriors does the ★ M9 Bayonet | Autotronic have?

Its float range is 0.00 to 0.85. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Does the ★ M9 Bayonet | Autotronic have StatTrak or Souvenir versions?

StatTrak versions are available alongside regular copies. There is no Souvenir version, so compare the supported versions separately from exterior condition.

Short Description

The ★ M9 Bayonet | Autotronic is a CS2 knife skin combining deep red anodizing with silver edges and steel mesh. Its sawback blade and geometric grip suit players who prefer detailed metalwork over illustrated designs. The finish comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred. Regular and StatTrak™ versions are available, with no Souvenir edition.

Description

The ★ M9 Bayonet | Autotronic brings a red-and-metal Gunsmith finish to the M9 Bayonet in CS2. The underlying weapon was designed for rifle mounting while also serving a close-quarters role. Its silhouette includes sawback teeth, an oval blade cutout and a prominent muzzle ring. Red covers the blade face, while silver borders keep its cutting edge visually distinct. Steel-mesh details on the blade and grip give the design texture without introducing illustrated artwork. The finish suits red-themed loadouts or players looking for a knife with clear metallic contrasts. FalleN, sjuush and dumau are among the professional players who own this skin. Buyers can compare exterior, float value and regular or StatTrak versions before selecting a particular listing.

History and Origin

The knife was released on June 15, 2016, alongside the Gamma Case. Its introduction came through the update titled "Gamma Case Skins". Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The Gamma 2 Case also contains this knife, providing another case-opening route. Both cases stopped dropping when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove that acquisition method. Today, direct purchases and player trades offer ways to obtain a chosen copy without relying on a random case outcome.

Finish Style

Autotronic uses the Gunsmith finish style and a palette of red, silver and dark gray. Deep red anodizing covers the main blade face rather than the entire knife. A broad silver cutting edge and a narrower silver spine frame that colored surface. A long, dark steel-mesh inset runs beneath the sawback teeth, incorporating mesh intended to reduce weight. An oval cutout sits nearer the tip, while silver tooth edges contrast against the red blade. The guard and muzzle ring are dark gray, keeping those structural parts visually separate from the blade. Silver-gray mesh-textured grip sections are divided by dark bands along the handle. The overall arrangement is clean and geometric, with fine mesh detail breaking up the larger surfaces.

Float Value

The float value range is 0.00 to 0.85, covering the full set of exterior categories available for this finish. Buyers can choose Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred, with no exterior category missing. Regular and StatTrak versions exist, but there is no Souvenir version; version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

The ★ M9 Bayonet | Autotronic has Covert rarity. Its drop chance from the Gamma Case is 0.0085%, making a case opening an uncertain route to this particular knife. It also appears in the Gamma 2 Case, while existing copies can be bought or traded directly without depending on those odds.

Why it’s Popular:

• Deep red blade with clearly contrasting silver edges

• Steel-mesh details across the blade and grip

• Geometric styling suited to red-themed loadouts

• Regular and StatTrak versions across all available exteriors

• Documented ownership by professional players

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range is $475.03 to $1,929.21. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a permanently assigned exterior or version. For a useful comparison, check the exterior label alongside the exact float value and visible condition. Regular and StatTrak listings should be compared separately, without assuming a fixed price relationship between them. When deciding which copy to buy, compare similar specifications and inspect the individual listing instead of treating the overall range as a valuation.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Gamma Case or Gamma 2 Case for a chance to receive this knife. The chance from the Gamma Case is 0.0085%, so opening it does not secure this finish. Neither case drops anymore, but existing cases can still be bought and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed copy through the Steam Community Market to choose an item rather than a random case result. Check its exterior, float value and regular or StatTrak status before completing the purchase.

4. Trade with Other Players

Obtain the knife through a player-to-player trade using an agreed exchange of items. Verify the exact finish, exterior, float and version in the offered item, especially when comparing otherwise similar copies.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Gamma cases limit fresh case supply, although existing cases can still produce additional knives when opened. Professional ownership provides a concrete point of interest, but does not establish broad demand or guarantee an easy resale. Compare regular and StatTrak copies by exterior and float before setting a buy, sell or trade target.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases have no new drops

• Covert rarity with low Gamma Case odds

• Documented ownership among professional players

• Distinctive red anodizing and steel-mesh detailing

• Regular and StatTrak options for different buyers

The investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by retired source cases, Covert rarity and documented professional ownership. Its high price level makes this a considered knife purchase rather than a low-cost speculative entry. Existing cases can still add knife supply, while broader demand and future appreciation remain uncertain.
