Kukri Knife | Stained

★ Kukri Knife | Stained is a CS2 knife skin with a broad, curved blade and a mottled silver-gray finish. Dark gray and blue-gray stains contrast with a brighter cutting edge and a mostly plain charcoal handle. Its subdued colors suit players who prefer textured metal over vivid paintwork. Standard and StatTrak™ versions are available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Description

★ Kukri Knife | Stained brings an uneven, deliberately discolored metal finish to the Kukri Knife in CS2. Its Patina finish emphasizes the blade's surface texture rather than a printed illustration or uniform color. The broad blade gives rounded stains and overlapping blotches plenty of visible space. A dark charcoal grip provides a quieter background for the busy metalwork. Small spine notches and a hole near the blade's base add distinct structural details to the weapon. The look suits players building a muted loadout around gray metal and dark accessories. Buyers can choose between standard and StatTrak versions without being restricted to a particular exterior. When comparing copies, the exact float value, exterior and version help distinguish otherwise similar-looking listings.

History and Origin

★ Kukri Knife | Stained was released on February 6, 2024, with the First Actual CS2 Skins update. The Kilowatt Case introduced its original case-opening route. Valve created the skin rather than a community designer. The knife is also available through the Gallery Case. As of October 9, 2026, the Kilowatt Case remains in the weekly drop pool through the Weekly Care Package. The Gallery Case was retired from the Armory and was no longer available there as of October 9, 2026. Existing Gallery Cases can still be bought and opened, so their retirement has not removed that acquisition route. Today, an existing knife can also be bought on the Steam Community Market or obtained through a player-to-player trade.

Finish Style

Stained is a Patina finish, with lemon and mustard applied to create deliberate discoloration on the blade. Its broad, curved face has a silver-gray base interrupted by dark gray and blue-gray mottling. Rounded stains overlap into irregular blotches, giving the metal an uneven appearance rather than a repeating geometric design. The cutting edge appears brighter and more reflective than the stained blade face. Small notches run along the spine near the handle, while a round hole sits at the blade's base. The dark charcoal handle has ribbed grip sections that contrast with the mottled metal. A curved finger guard and a metal-ringed hole near the butt complete the visible handle details. Together, the busy blade and mostly plain grip create a restrained palette with a textured focal point.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Kukri Knife | Stained ranges from 0.00 to 1.00. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of these exterior categories is missing. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but no Souvenir version exists; version choice is separate from a copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Kukri Knife | Stained has the Covert rarity grade. Its drop chance from the Kilowatt Case is 0.02%, making a case opening an uncertain route to this particular finish. Professional players rain and jL own the knife.

Why it’s Popular:

• Silver-gray blade with distinctive dark mottling

• Bright cutting edge contrasts with the stained blade

• Muted colors suit understated loadouts

• Standard and StatTrak options across every exterior

Price Range

The live ★ Kukri Knife | Stained price range is $47.19 to $253.51. Listings can differ by exterior, exact float value and standard or StatTrak version. The available wear range runs from Factory New through Battle-Scarred, so check the exterior before comparing offers. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, compare copies with the same exterior and version, then review their individual floats. These live bounds cover the whole skin and are not fixed prices for any particular variant.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Kilowatt Case or Gallery Case for a chance at this knife, rather than a guaranteed result. The Kilowatt Case chance is 0.02%, so openings are not a predictable way to obtain this finish. The Gallery Case is retired from the Armory, but existing cases can still be bought and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for an existing ★ Kukri Knife | Stained instead of a random case result. Check the listing's exterior and whether it is standard or StatTrak before buying. Compare the individual copy's float as well, rather than relying only on its exterior label.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers another route to an existing copy of the knife without opening either case. Confirm the offered exterior, float and StatTrak status before agreeing to an exchange, especially when comparing otherwise similar copies.

Trading and Investment Considerations

New Kilowatt Case supply continues through the Weekly Care Package, while existing Gallery Cases remain openable after their Armory retirement. Ownership by rain and jL offers professional visibility, but does not establish market-wide demand or a reliable resale pace. Before choosing a copy to buy, sell or trade, compare its exterior, exact float and standard or StatTrak version.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Covert knife rarity

• Owned by rain and jL

• Standard and StatTrak collecting options

• Distinctive curved blade with a mottled patina

The investment rating is medium, based on Covert knife rarity, ownership by rain and jL, and standard or StatTrak collecting options. The main risk is continued supply from Kilowatt Case openings, while professional ownership alone cannot establish future demand. Price-history evidence is insufficient to treat the knife as a proven short-term flip.
