Short Description

The ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe is a CS2 glove skin with a cream-and-brown animal pattern. Orange-brown centers and layered fabric bands give the hand and wrist panels a detailed textile look. Its warm palette suits players building earth-toned loadouts or looking for a patterned glove finish. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, without StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions.

Description

The ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe applies its animal-print finish to fabric wraps rather than a weapon body. Pale cream divisions frame dark brown patches with smaller orange-brown centers. The pattern extends across the backs of the hands and wrists, giving both areas a consistent visual identity. Plain brown palm and finger sections balance the patterned fabric instead of extending the print across every surface. This combination suits players who prefer layered textile detail over a uniform color scheme. Its Extraordinary rarity describes the item category, while exterior and float describe the condition of an individual copy. Buyers can choose among Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred listings. Comparing exact float values and listing images helps identify a copy whose condition and appearance match the intended loadout.

History and Origin

The Giraffe finish was released in CS:GO on December 3, 2020. Its debut came with the Operation Broken Fang update and the Operation Broken Fang Case. Valve created the design rather than a community workshop designer. Current case sources also include the Snakebite Case and Recoil Case. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Operation Broken Fang Case, Snakebite Case and Recoil Case no longer drop. Existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open despite that retirement. Direct purchases and player trades provide current routes to the gloves without relying on a random case result.

Finish Style

The wrap construction reflects its intended role of protecting knuckles and supporting the wrists. A pale cream base is broken up by irregular dark brown patches. Smaller orange-brown centers add another layer of color inside the darker shapes. Cream lines separate these patches into a giraffe-like pattern across the backs of the hands and wrists. Overlapping fabric bands create diagonal boundaries rather than a continuous flat panel. Visible seams interrupt the patterned areas, keeping the layered textile construction apparent. The exposed palm and finger sections are dark brown, with a coarse woven texture and stitched edges. Those plain sections contrast with the busy print, giving the finish distinct patterned and unpatterned areas.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Exterior describes cosmetic condition, while version availability is separate: this finish has no StatTrak or Souvenir edition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe has the Extraordinary rarity grade, separate from the exterior assigned to an individual copy. The chance of obtaining this finish from the Operation Broken Fang Case is 0.011%. Direct buying and trading avoid the random opening result, while existing cases keep the case-opening route available.

Why it’s Popular:

• Warm cream, brown and orange-brown palette

• Giraffe-like pattern across hands and wrists

• Visible fabric layering, seams and woven texture

• All exterior grades available for condition-focused buyers

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe is $32.80 to $911.03. These bounds cover the item overall, not fixed prices for particular exteriors. Compare individual listings by exterior and exact float rather than the condition label alone. Listing images also help buyers assess the patterned fabric, plain brown sections and visible condition of a specific copy. With no StatTrak or Souvenir editions, price comparisons stay focused on the standard gloves and their individual listing details.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

The gloves can be obtained by opening an Operation Broken Fang Case, Snakebite Case or Recoil Case. All of these cases have stopped dropping, but existing stock can still be purchased and opened. The Operation Broken Fang Case chance is 0.011%, so opening it does not guarantee this particular finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market offers a direct buying route for the Giraffe finish instead of a random case result. Check the listing's exterior and available item details before buying, especially when comparing copies within the same condition grade.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the gloves through a trade with another player rather than opening a case. Before accepting, compare the exact float, exterior and appearance of the offered copy with the items being exchanged.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retirement of all source cases restricts new case supply, though existing openings can still add gloves to circulation. Market listings include Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn copies, providing condition choices for buyers and sellers to compare. Sales volume and sustained demand are not established, so a buy, sell or trade decision should not assume quick resale or steady appreciation.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases restrict new case supply

• Extraordinary rarity and a low Broken Fang opening chance

• Distinctive animal print with detailed fabric construction

• Full exterior selection for different condition preferences

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired case sources and the low Broken Fang opening chance. Those supply factors offer a reason to consider holding, but they do not establish future demand. Existing case openings can still increase glove supply, and uncertain resale demand remains the main risk.
