Hand Wraps | Desert Shamagh

★ Hand Wraps | Desert Shamagh is a CS2 glove skin with sandy fabric wraps and muted olive-brown patterns. Angular motifs cover the outer bands, contrasting with darker material around the palms and fingers. The look suits players who prefer earth tones and woven textures over bright colors. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, without StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions.

Description

★ Hand Wraps | Desert Shamagh gives CS2 hand coverings a sandy, densely patterned appearance. Its tan base and subdued olive-brown details keep the palette focused on earth tones. Repeating hooked shapes decorate the wrists and backs of the hands rather than covering every surface equally. Wide overlapping bands, visible seams and folded edges emphasize the layered construction. Darker palm and finger sections provide contrast without competing with the outer pattern. The finish suits loadouts built around muted colors and players who favor fabric detail over decorative shine. ScreaM owns these wraps. Buyers can compare exterior, float value and listing images to select the particular copy that best matches their preferred condition.

History and Origin

The finish was released on December 3, 2020, alongside the Operation Broken Fang Case. Its debut was part of the Operation Broken Fang update in CS:GO. Valve created the design rather than a community designer. The Operation Broken Fang Case was its original case-based acquisition route. The Snakebite Case and Recoil Case also provide opening routes for this finish. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, none of these cases receives new drops, although existing cases can still be bought and opened. Present-day buyers can therefore choose between opening an existing case, purchasing the finished gloves or arranging a player trade.

Finish Style

Desert Shamagh presents a layered textile finish built around wrapped bands rather than a smooth outer shell. Sandy tan covers most of the visible wrapping, giving the gloves their main color. Muted olive-brown motifs form repeating angular and hooked shapes across that base. Closely spaced rows make the wrists and backs of the hands densely patterned. The broad bands overlap, with seams and folded edges making their construction easy to distinguish. Dark brown and gray fabric covers the palm areas and short finger sections. Those inner areas show a fine woven texture but remain mostly plain, balancing the busier outer surfaces. The overall construction visually reflects the knuckle protection and wrist support described for the wraps, without suggesting a gameplay benefit.

Float Value

The float value ranges from 0.06 to 0.80, covering Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Neither StatTrak nor Souvenir versions are available for this finish. Exterior and float describe an individual copy's cosmetic condition, so inspect listing images rather than treating the wear label as a complete visual description.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Hand Wraps | Desert Shamagh has Extraordinary rarity within the glove category. Its drop chance from the Operation Broken Fang Case is 0.011%, a figure that should not be applied to its other case routes. Existing cases remain openable despite their retired drop status, so obtaining the finish through an opening is still possible.

Why it’s Popular:

• Sandy colors suit muted, earth-tone loadouts

• Angular motifs give the outer wraps a distinctive fabric character

• Dark inner sections contrast with densely patterned bands

• Available exteriors accommodate different cosmetic condition preferences

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range is $32.35 to $484.23, covering the whole item rather than particular exteriors. Exterior is an important price distinction, with Factory New and Minimal Wear carrying higher asking prices than the more worn choices. Float value helps distinguish copies within an exterior, while item images show the appearance being offered. There is no StatTrak or Souvenir edition to factor into the comparison. Check asking price, condition and listing details together before choosing where to buy or setting a price to sell.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open an Operation Broken Fang Case, Snakebite Case or Recoil Case for a chance to obtain this finish. Its chance from the Operation Broken Fang Case is 0.011%, so an opening should not be treated as a direct purchase. These cases no longer receive new drops, but existing stock can still be bought and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy the finished gloves on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a case outcome. Compare the listed exterior, float information and item images before selecting a copy, since the finish is available across all its listed wear tiers.

4. Trade with Other Players

A player-to-player trade provides another route to acquiring these wraps. Confirm the exact item, exterior, float value and visible condition before accepting an exchange, and review the complete offer rather than judging it by the finish name alone.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The associated cases no longer receive new drops, but opening existing stock can still add gloves to circulation. Before buying, selling or trading, compare exterior, float and visible condition across individual listings rather than treating every copy as interchangeable. Professional ownership is documented, but listing depth and sustained demand remain uncertain, limiting confidence in short-term resale.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new drops for any associated case

• Documented professional ownership by ScreaM

• Distinctive sandy palette and angular fabric pattern

• Exterior choices support condition-focused buying

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, reflecting retired case supply and documented professional ownership. Those factors support a considered holding case, not a prediction of price growth. Existing cases can still produce gloves, while uncertain demand and listing depth remain the main risks.
