Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls

★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls is a CS2 glove skin featuring bright blue fabric covered in skull motifs. Layered bands and darker navy sections give the wraps a textured, patterned appearance. The look suits blue-themed loadouts and players who prefer detailed fabric designs. All exterior grades are available, but there are no StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions.

Description

★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls brings a printed skull finish to fabric hand wraps in CS2. Cobalt and pale blue dominate the design, contrasting with navy areas around the palms and finger openings. Repeated skulls vary in size, giving the lighter surfaces a dense pattern rather than a single central illustration. The layered construction remains visible through woven texture, folds and seams across the fabric. Its cool palette makes it a natural option for players building a blue-focused loadout. The busy print also suits buyers who want substantial surface detail rather than plain-colored gloves. Professional players olofmeister, fer and rallen have owned this finish, providing documented examples of its use. Buyers can compare exterior grades, individual float values and listing images to choose a pair that matches their preferred condition.

History and Origin

The finish debuted in CS:GO on February 14, 2018, through the Clutch Case and the Clutch Case Skins update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. Its concept combines protective, wrist-supporting hand wraps with a blue skull print, linking the construction and decoration through a hand-to-hand fighting theme. The Revolution Case provides another case-opening route for this finish alongside its original case. New Clutch Case drops ended when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Revolution Case remains in the Weekly Care Package pool, allowing new cases to enter circulation. Existing Clutch Cases can still be bought on the market and opened despite their retired drop status. Today, buyers can also obtain an existing pair through the Steam Community Market or a trade with another player.

Finish Style

The finish uses a vivid cobalt and pale blue palette across most of the fabric. Navy sections around the palms and finger openings create darker breaks between the printed areas. Overlapping strips cross the wrists and knuckles, emphasizing the wrapped construction rather than a smooth glove surface. Skull motifs repeat across these bands, with different sizes keeping the pattern varied. Rounded outlines frame the skulls, while darker eye and nose shapes define their faces. A visible woven texture gives the material a fabric character beneath the printed decoration. Folds and seams distinguish the separate layers and show how the strips overlap around the hands. Because skulls cover most lighter surfaces, the overall effect is detailed and busy, with color contrast helping the individual shapes stand out.

Float Value

The float value range for Cobalt Skulls is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so every exterior grade is represented. Neither StatTrak™ nor Souvenir versions exist; version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition described by a pair's float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls has Extraordinary rarity and is one of 94 Gloves skins. The chance of obtaining this finish from the Clutch Case is 0.011%. Both the Clutch Case and Revolution Case offer acquisition routes, while buying or trading an existing pair avoids relying on a case-opening result.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright cobalt and pale blue suit blue-themed loadouts

• Repeated skull motifs give the fabric a distinctive identity

• Woven texture and layered bands add visible detail

• Documented ownership by olofmeister, fer and rallen

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range is $133.57 to $1,206.02. These bounds cover the whole finish and should not be treated as fixed prices for particular exteriors. Condition matters when comparing listings, with cleaner exteriors generally occupying a higher price level than heavily worn examples. Check the exact float value and listing images alongside the exterior label before deciding which pair offers suitable value. There are no StatTrak or Souvenir variants to separate, so comparisons can focus on condition, appearance and the listed asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Clutch Case or Revolution Case for a chance at this finish. Existing Clutch Cases remain usable despite no longer dropping, while the Revolution Case remains in the weekly drop pool. The Clutch Case chance for Cobalt Skulls is 0.011%, making this a chance-based route rather than a direct purchase.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing pair through the Steam Community Market by selecting a Cobalt Skulls listing. Compare the available exterior and asking price, then inspect the specific pair's condition where possible. This route purchases the listed item instead of depending on a case opening.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player who owns Cobalt Skulls and is willing to exchange the pair. Confirm the finish, exterior and exact float before agreeing to the trade. Comparing its current listing value with the items offered helps assess the exchange without assuming every pair has the same value.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Clutch Case drops limit new supply from that source, but weekly Revolution Case drops keep another acquisition route supplied. Professional ownership supports the finish's appeal, although it does not establish consistent buyer demand or rapid resale. When buying, selling or trading, compare matching exteriors and individual floats rather than assuming all blue skull wraps are interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive blue skull design

• Documented professional ownership

• Extraordinary rarity

• Original Clutch Case no longer drops

The editorial investment rating is medium, balancing Extraordinary rarity and documented professional ownership against continuing Revolution Case supply. The main risk is assuming retired Clutch Case drops make the finish's overall supply finite. Short-term price performance remains uncertain, so its visual appeal is a firmer purchase rationale than expected returns.
