Hand Wraps | Badlands

★ Hand Wraps | Badlands is a CS2 glove skin with sandy camouflage and a deliberately improvised appearance. Yellow-orange cloth bands overlap across the hands and wrists, broken up by dark brown and olive-gray patches. The look suits players who prefer rugged fabric textures and earthy colors. It comes in every listed exterior, from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, without StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions.

Description

The ★ Hand Wraps | Badlands applies its finish to hand protection rather than a weapon, making the hands themselves the focus of the design. Its sandy yellow and orange palette gives the gloves a desert-toned appearance without relying on a uniform color field. Dark brown and olive-gray camouflage patches interrupt the brighter cloth and keep the surface visually varied. Broad bands overlap across the backs of the hands before continuing around the wrists. Darker fabric beneath those strips provides contrast at the palms and finger openings. The result suits players who prefer a coarse fabric look over a smooth-looking accessory. For a coordinated loadout, the finish offers sandy, brown and olive tones to work around. Buyers can compare the listed exterior with the exact float value, then check images for the condition of the individual pair.

History and Origin

★ Hand Wraps | Badlands was released on November 28, 2016 alongside the Glove Case. Its introduction was part of the Glove Case Skins update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The design centers on improvised hand protection assembled from scavenged materials. Its flavor text connects that theme to Felix overlooking an unauthorized boxing league within the Colation Taskforce. The Operation Hydra Case also contains this finish, giving it another case-opening route. Both source cases stopped dropping when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, despite the end of new case drops. Today, buyers can also obtain the wraps directly through marketplace listings or trades with other players.

Finish Style

Sandy yellow and orange dominate the broad cloth strips that form the outer wraps. Irregular dark brown and olive-gray patches create camouflage rather than a repeating geometric motif. The bands cross diagonally over the backs of the hands and continue around the wrists. Dark olive fabric appears along the palms, around the finger openings and beneath the brighter strips. A coarse woven texture makes the cloth structure a visible part of the finish. Creases and uneven edges emphasize the separate layers instead of making them look like a single smooth surface. The diagonal arrangement breaks up the camouflage shapes, giving the design its busy visual character. This layered construction supports the finish's improvised, scavenged-material concept. Together, the contrasting fabrics and overlapping bands give the gloves a tactile appearance rooted in cloth rather than decoration alone.

Float Value

The float range for ★ Hand Wraps | Badlands is 0.06 to 0.80, defining the available span of cosmetic condition. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of those exteriors is excluded. Neither StatTrak nor Souvenir versions exist, regardless of the pair's exterior or exact float.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Hand Wraps | Badlands belongs to the Extraordinary rarity grade. The chance of obtaining this finish from the Glove Case is 0.011%, making case opening a gamble rather than a direct purchase. Professional player DANK1NG owns the finish, though that ownership does not change its rarity grade or availability.

Why it’s Popular:

• Sandy camouflage suits earthy-colored loadouts

• Overlapping bands give the gloves a distinctive cloth silhouette

• Coarse woven texture reinforces the improvised look

• Available across Factory New through Battle-Scarred

Price Range

The live ★ Hand Wraps | Badlands price range is $79.72 to $1,344.07. These bounds cover the whole finish, not a particular exterior or named variant. Exterior and exact float are important comparison points because listings cover different cosmetic conditions. There are no StatTrak or Souvenir editions to separate when checking the CS2 skin price. Before buying, compare the current listing price, stated condition and item images rather than choosing from the overall range alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Glove Case or Operation Hydra Case for a chance to receive this finish. Neither case drops anymore, but existing cases can still be bought and opened. The Glove Case chance for Badlands is 0.011%, so an opening does not ensure this particular pair.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy ★ Hand Wraps | Badlands directly through the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a case opening. Compare the exterior, float value and item images before choosing a listing, especially when cosmetic condition is the priority. Check the specific listing rather than treating the overall skin price range as a quote for that pair.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trading with another player offers a way to obtain the wraps without opening either source case. Confirm that the offered item is Badlands, then compare its exterior and float with the items requested in exchange. Use the broader market range as context, not a substitute for evaluating the particular pair being offered.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Both source cases no longer drop, although unopened stock can still produce additional wraps. DANK1NG owns the finish, but that ownership alone does not establish market-wide demand or resale speed. When preparing to buy, sell or trade, compare the exact exterior and float rather than treating every Badlands pair as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Extraordinary glove rarity

• Distinctive sandy camouflage and layered cloth

• Professional ownership by DANK1NG

A medium investment rating balances retired source-case supply and professional ownership against uncertain market demand. Those factors support considering a hold, but they do not establish a rising price trend or promise returns. The main risk is uncertain resale demand while existing cases can still add more pairs to circulation.
