Gut Knife | Forest DDPAT

The ★ Gut Knife | Forest DDPAT is a CS2 knife skin with muted digital camouflage across its broad blade. Green, olive, tan and brown blocks surround the curved gut hook, while a mostly plain green handle balances the pattern. Its subdued appearance suits camouflage-themed and earth-tone loadouts. Buyers can choose from every exterior, with standard and StatTrak™ versions available.

Description

The ★ Gut Knife | Forest DDPAT brings a woodland-style digital camouflage finish to the Gut Knife in CS2. The curved hook on the blade's spine gives the weapon a distinctive outline alongside its broad cutting surface. Small rectangular color blocks make the blade visually busy without relying on bright accents. The comparatively simple green handle provides a calmer background for that dense pattern. This combination suits players who prefer muted equipment colors and coordinated green or brown loadouts. Its flavor text connects noticing the camouflage pixels with an encounter that has already become too close. Standard and StatTrak versions provide different ownership options without changing the identity of the Forest DDPAT finish. Buyers can compare the exterior, exact float value, version and item images when deciding which listing fits their preferences.

History and Origin

The knife was released in CS:GO on August 14, 2013, during the Arms Deal update. Its original release route was the CS:GO Weapon Case. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Other source cases include the eSports 2013 Case and Operation Bravo Case. It also appears in the CS:GO Weapon Case 2, eSports 2013 Winter Case and Winter Offensive Weapon Case. Further routes include the CS:GO Weapon Case 3, Operation Phoenix Weapon Case and eSports 2014 Summer Case. The Operation Vanguard Weapon Case and Revolver Case also contain this knife finish. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and these source cases no longer receive new drops. Existing cases remain available to buy and open, while finished copies can be purchased through marketplaces or obtained through player trades.

Finish Style

Forest DDPAT uses a Hydrographic finish to apply digital camouflage to the blade. Muted green and olive areas mix with tan, brown and pale beige blocks. The small, angular shapes densely cover the broad blade face, giving the surface its pixelated character. That pattern also surrounds the curved gut hook near the tip, keeping the camouflage continuous around the distinctive blade feature. A thin, bright metallic edge follows the curved cutting side and separates it from the patterned face. The handle is mostly plain green, with darker shading across its softly contoured shape. Three round fasteners and a lanyard hole at the butt remain visible against the simpler handle surface. The overall design draws its contrast from the detailed blade and restrained handle rather than from vivid colors or decorative artwork.

Float Value

The ★ Gut Knife | Forest DDPAT has a float value range of 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version; version choice is separate from the knife's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The ★ Gut Knife | Forest DDPAT has the Covert rarity grade. Its documented opening chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, which should not be treated as an odds figure for every source case. Although several cases contain this finish, none of its listed source cases receive new drops, and only existing case stock remains openable.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted camouflage for green and brown loadouts

• Distinctive gut hook and broad patterned blade

• Plain green handle balances the detailed camouflage

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different buying options

Price Range

The live ★ Gut Knife | Forest DDPAT price range is $39.87 to $460.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Exterior labels group cosmetic condition, while the exact float gives a more precise reference when comparing individual copies. Check standard and StatTrak listings separately, making sure the version matches the intended purchase. Use the CS2 skin price alongside the float and item images rather than choosing solely by the lowest asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a source case such as the CS:GO Weapon Case, Operation Bravo Case or Revolver Case for a chance at this finish. The CS:GO Weapon Case chance is 0.0039%, so opening it does not secure this particular knife. These cases no longer drop, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed copy on the Steam Community Market to select the knife directly rather than rely on a case opening. Check the exterior, exact float and standard or StatTrak version before choosing a listing that matches the desired condition.

4. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be obtained through player-to-player trades in exchange for other items. Inspect the offered knife's exterior, float and version, then confirm that the item in the trade matches the copy being discussed.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Its source case supply is no longer replenished through drops, but unopened stock can still produce additional knives. Before a buy, sell or trade decision, compare the available exteriors and standard versus StatTrak versions rather than treating every copy as interchangeable. There is no established price trend or verified demand evidence here to support a confident short-term trading outlook.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Source cases no longer receive new drops

• Low documented CS:GO Weapon Case opening chance

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer distinct purchase options

• Factory New through Battle-Scarred options broaden selection

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired source case supply against uncertain demand and a lack of established price-history evidence. The main risk is that existing cases can still add knives to circulation while resale demand remains unverified, so case retirement alone does not establish future returns.
