Flip Knife | Scorched

★ Flip Knife | Scorched is a CS2 knife skin with a curved blade and a subdued Spray-Paint finish. Charcoal, black, and muted brown patches give it a mottled appearance suited to dark or understated loadouts. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with standard and StatTrak™ versions available.

Description

★ Flip Knife | Scorched pairs the Flip Knife's distinctive shape with a dark, irregularly patterned finish in CS2. Its back-swept blade ends in an acute point, giving the silhouette a pronounced curve. Muted brown and gray patches interrupt the charcoal base without introducing bright colors. A narrow silver edge outlines the blade and separates the patterned surface from its cutting edge. The textured handle continues the restrained palette, with pale tan markings and visible metal fasteners. This look suits players who prefer mottled shading over bold graphics or lettering. Standard and StatTrak™ versions offer a choice of version independently of the knife's exterior condition. Buyers can compare the finish's appearance, exact float value, and version when choosing between available listings.

History and Origin

The knife debuted in CS:GO on August 14, 2013, through the CS:GO Weapon Case in the Arms Deal update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Other source cases include the eSports 2013 Case, Operation Bravo Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2, and eSports 2013 Winter Case. It also appears in the Winter Offensive Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 3, and Operation Phoenix Weapon Case. The eSports 2014 Summer Case, Operation Vanguard Weapon Case, and Revolver Case complete its source-case lineup. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops for all these cases. As of October 9, 2026, existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Current buyers can also obtain the finished knife through marketplace purchases or player trades rather than pursuing a case-opening result.

Finish Style

Scorched uses a Spray-Paint finish built around uneven patches rather than a uniform field of color. The blade's main surface is charcoal gray and black, establishing a muted base. Brown and gray areas break up that surface in a pattern resembling sunlight filtered across it. The blade sweeps backward toward a sharp point, following the Flip Knife's Persian-style profile. A narrow silver edge traces the curve, creating a clear boundary against the dark blade face. The dark gray handle has a fine texture and diagonal grooves crossed by pale tan patches. Silver fasteners and a dark oval inset add mechanical detail near the blade pivot. Together, the mottled shading and restrained palette give the knife a subdued appearance without bold artwork or text.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Flip Knife | Scorched ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior categories is missing. StatTrak™ versions are available alongside standard copies; version availability is separate from a copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Flip Knife | Scorched has Covert rarity, which identifies its item grade independently of exterior condition. The chance of obtaining this specific knife from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%. Its source cases no longer drop, but existing cases remain openable and the knife can still be purchased or traded.

Why it’s Popular:

• Charcoal tones suit dark, understated loadouts

• Mottled patches add detail without loud artwork

• Silver blade edging highlights the curved profile

• Standard and StatTrak™ versions accommodate different preferences

Price Range

The live ★ Flip Knife | Scorched CS2 skin price range is $101.63 to $560.32. These bounds cover the whole item, not a fixed exterior or StatTrak™ version. Exterior, exact float value, and version are useful distinctions when comparing individual knife listings. Available variants occupy different price levels, so a comparison should match the exterior and version rather than rely on the overall range alone. Buyers and sellers can use comparable listings to evaluate an asking price before deciding whether to buy, sell, or trade.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a source case containing this knife, such as the CS:GO Weapon Case, Operation Bravo Case, or Revolver Case. These cases no longer drop, but existing stock can still be bought on the market and opened. The specific knife chance in the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, so opening that case does not ensure this result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

★ Flip Knife | Scorched can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of pursued through case openings. Check the listing's exterior and whether it is standard or StatTrak™ before selecting a copy.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain this knife by trading with other players who already own it. Compare the exact float, exterior, and StatTrak™ status with the items offered in exchange before agreeing to the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases limit new case supply, although existing stock can still produce additional Scorched knives when opened. Multiple source cases and existing listings mean discontinued drops do not make the knife unavailable. Price history and sustained demand are uncertain, so traders should compare matching exteriors and versions rather than assume an easy resale.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Source cases receive no new drops

• Low documented chance from the original case

• Standard and StatTrak™ versions provide distinct buying options

• Curved blade and muted finish offer a clear visual identity

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired source-case drops and Covert rarity against continued availability through existing cases and listings. The main risk is mistaking discontinued case drops for exhausted knife supply, especially without established price history or sustained demand evidence.
