Driver Gloves | Overtake

★ Driver Gloves | Overtake is a CS2 glove skin with contrasting black-and-tan leather styling. Dark backs, lighter palms, and visible stitching give the design its driving-glove character. The finish suits players building understated black, brown, or tan loadouts. Available exteriors range from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, without StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions.

Description

★ Driver Gloves | Overtake brings a two-tone leather finish to the Driver Gloves cosmetic in CS2. The design emphasizes recognizable glove construction rather than a large printed illustration. Dark brown-black backs contrast with tan palms and finger undersides, making the finish readable from different viewing angles. Crosshatched stitching adds a distinctive focal point across the back panel. Perforated sections and a textured palm insert contribute smaller details without disrupting the broad color blocks. Its restrained palette suits players who prefer leather textures and subdued colors in their loadout. Buyers can choose across the available exterior categories instead of being limited to a narrow condition selection. When comparing copies, the exterior, exact float value, and item preview are useful checks alongside the asking price.

History and Origin

★ Driver Gloves | Overtake was released on February 14, 2018, in the Clutch Case Skins update. Valve created the finish, so it is not credited to a community designer. The Clutch Case was its original case-opening route at release. The Revolution Case also contains Overtake, giving buyers another case to consider today. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, changing the Clutch Case's supply position. As of October 9, 2026, the Clutch Case no longer drops, although existing cases can still be purchased and opened. On that same date, the Revolution Case remained in the weekly drop pool through the Weekly Care Package. Current acquisition therefore includes existing Clutch Cases, Revolution Cases, direct marketplace purchases, and trades with other players.

Finish Style

The Overtake finish centers on black-and-tan leather styling, with the material appearance carrying much of its visual identity. The backs use a dark brown-black color that forms the dominant outer surface. Tan leather covers the palms and finger undersides, creating a clear contrast with those darker panels. Light stitching follows the cuffs and panel boundaries, making the construction lines visible against the surrounding leather. A broad lattice of stitching across the back creates the finish's distinctive crosshatched detail. Small ventilation holes line the dark finger panels and extend onto sections of the tan palm. A dark textured insert sits near the base of the fingers on the palm-facing glove. Overall, clean color blocking provides the foundation, while seams, perforations, and the insert give close-up inspection more detail.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Driver Gloves | Overtake is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, covering the full set of listed condition categories. Neither StatTrak nor Souvenir versions exist, so version availability should be kept separate from the cosmetic condition of an individual pair.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Driver Gloves | Overtake has the Extraordinary rarity grade, which is separate from its exterior and float value. The chance of obtaining this specific finish from a Clutch Case opening is 0.011%. Overtake is one of 94 glove skins and has documented ownership by professional player yay.

Why it’s Popular:

• Black-and-tan leather suits understated loadouts

• Crosshatched stitching gives the backs a distinctive detail

• Contrasting palms and backs create a clear two-tone look

• Available exteriors offer a broad choice of cosmetic condition

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for ★ Driver Gloves | Overtake is $34.81 to $547.92. These bounds cover the whole finish rather than a fixed pair of named exteriors. Factory New occupies a higher price level than the more worn exteriors, making condition an important comparison point. Within a chosen exterior, compare the exact float value and item preview before deciding whether a listing fits. With no StatTrak or Souvenir options, buyers can focus their comparison on exterior, visible condition, and the current asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open the Clutch Case or Revolution Case for a chance at Overtake, rather than a guaranteed result. The Clutch Case chance for this finish is 0.011%. Existing Clutch Cases remain purchasable and openable despite their retired drop status, while Revolution Cases enter through weekly drops as of October 9, 2026.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy ★ Driver Gloves | Overtake on the Steam Community Market by selecting a listing for the gloves directly. Check the listed exterior and compare the float and condition information available before choosing a copy, rather than relying on the finish name alone.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trading with other players offers another way to obtain the gloves without opening a case. Confirm that the offered item is Overtake, then assess its exterior and float alongside the items being exchanged.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Weekly Revolution Case drops provide an ongoing acquisition route, even though new Clutch Cases no longer drop. For a buy, sell, or trade decision, compare exterior, float, and the item preview rather than treating every Overtake listing as equivalent. Professional ownership is documented, but broader demand and resale speed remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Extraordinary rarity

• Distinctive black-and-tan leather design

• Documented ownership by yay

• Exterior choice across the float range

The editorial investment rating for ★ Driver Gloves | Overtake is medium. Extraordinary rarity and documented professional ownership support its appeal, but weekly Revolution Case drops prevent a closed-supply argument. The main risk is continued case availability without evidence of dependable resale demand, so the rating does not imply future returns.
