Driver Gloves | Imperial Plaid

★ Driver Gloves | Imperial Plaid brings purple leather panels and plaid flannel cuffs to cosmetic gloves in CS2. The darker plum details and muted blue checks suit purple-focused loadouts. Available exteriors include Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions.

Description

The ★ Driver Gloves | Imperial Plaid is a cosmetic glove finish in CS2, not a weapon skin. Its purple palette contrasts darker plum hand panels with patterned flannel cuffs. Muted blue squares and fine reddish lines add detail without overwhelming the main color. Perforations and visible stitching emphasize the leather sections rather than relying on a printed illustration. The look suits players who favor coordinated purple loadouts and visible material textures. Buyers can compare the full exterior range and each pair's exact float value. Listing images help show how the cuff pattern, palm patch and hand panels appear on a particular copy.

History and Origin

★ Driver Gloves | Imperial Plaid was released in CS:GO on February 14, 2018. The finish arrived with the Clutch Case in the "Clutch Case Skins" update. Valve created these gloves rather than a community designer. The Revolution Case also contains the finish, providing another case-opening route today. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Clutch Case drops. Existing Clutch Cases remain available to buy and open, preserving access through the original release case. As of October 9, 2026, the Revolution Case remains in the Weekly Care Package drop pool.

Finish Style

The finish brings flannel and leather together in a deep purple color scheme. Darker plum panels run across the fingers and backs of the hands. The long cuffs carry a plaid of purple and muted blue squares. Thin reddish lines cross those squares, adding contrast within the patterned fabric. Small perforations appear in rows across the leather hand and finger panels. Stitching follows the panel edges, outlining the separate pieces of material. The dark palm includes a blue-purple textured patch near the base of the fingers. Detail is concentrated around the cuffs, while the mostly solid hand panels keep the design restrained.

Float Value

The float range is 0.06 to 0.80, covering Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Exterior names describe condition, while the exact float identifies a particular copy within that range. Neither StatTrak™ nor Souvenir versions exist, so version availability is separate from choosing the gloves' cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

These gloves have Extraordinary rarity, with a 0.011% chance of obtaining this finish from the Clutch Case. That stated chance applies to the Clutch Case, not automatically to the Revolution Case. Professional players fnx, olofmeister and apEX have owned this finish.

Why it’s Popular:

• Purple and plum colors suit coordinated loadouts

• Plaid cuffs contrast with understated leather hand panels

• Perforations and stitching add visible material detail

• Professional ownership includes fnx, olofmeister and apEX

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for ★ Driver Gloves | Imperial Plaid is $93.48 to $1,600.00. These bounds cover the whole finish, not a fixed quote for any particular exterior. Compare exterior labels and exact floats before judging the value of individual listings. There are no StatTrak or Souvenir price categories to account for. Check item images alongside the asking price to assess whether the offered pair's condition matches the look being sought.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Clutch Case or Revolution Case for a chance to obtain this finish. The Clutch Case chance is 0.011%, so opening does not let buyers select these gloves as the result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy the gloves through an individual Steam Community Market listing rather than relying on a case result. Confirm the item name, then compare the listed exterior and float before purchasing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers another route by exchanging items with a willing owner. Inspect the offered gloves' identity, exterior and float before agreeing, since copies of the same finish can differ in condition.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Clutch Case retirement limits fresh case supply from that route, but Revolution Cases continue entering the market through weekly drops. Professional ownership supports visibility, not guaranteed demand or resale speed; compare exteriors and floats when deciding whether to buy, sell or trade a pair.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Professional ownership by fnx, olofmeister and apEX

• Distinctive purple leather and plaid combination

• Extraordinary rarity

• No new Clutch Case drops

The investment rating is medium, balancing Extraordinary rarity and professional ownership against an ongoing case-opening source. Continued Revolution Case supply is the main risk, and the available evidence does not establish future demand or returns.
