Driver Gloves | Diamondback

★ Driver Gloves | Diamondback is a CS2 glove skin combining tan leather, dark leather, and snakeskin. Dense scale patterns cover the backs and cuffs, contrasting with the darker fingers. Its earthy colors suit players who prefer textured accessories over bright, flat finishes. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, without StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions.

Description

★ Driver Gloves | Diamondback is a cosmetic finish for Driver Gloves in CS2, giving the hands a leather-and-snakeskin appearance. Tan and olive-brown panels establish its earthy palette, while near-black leather provides contrast around the patterned areas. The backs of the hands and cuffs carry the main scale detailing, making texture central to the design. Dark fingers create a quieter visual frame around those busy panels, with perforations and seams adding smaller details. The combination suits players building a subdued loadout around brown, tan, or dark colors. It also offers a textured look for buyers who prefer material detail to a uniform surface. Its exterior selection extends from Factory New through Battle-Scarred, providing options across the supported condition categories. When comparing pairs, buyers should check the exact float value and inspect the visible finish rather than rely on the exterior label alone.

History and Origin

★ Driver Gloves | Diamondback was released on November 28, 2016. It arrived through the Glove Case as part of the Glove Case Skins update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer contributing it. Its acquisition routes also include the Operation Hydra Case, giving buyers another named case to consider. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, neither the Glove Case nor the Operation Hydra Case receives new drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retired case drops do not mean the gloves are unobtainable. Today, buyers can also choose an existing pair through the Steam Community Market or arrange a player trade instead of opening a case.

Finish Style

The Diamondback finish builds its visual identity from tan leather, black leather, and snakeskin rather than a single painted color. Tan and olive-brown snakeskin panels stretch across the backs of the hands and continue onto the cuffs. A dense scale pattern gives these sections a closely packed, textured appearance. Irregular dark patches interrupt the pattern, while lighter gold-toned areas add variation within the earthy palette. Dark brown to nearly black leather covers the fingers and borders the snakeskin sections. Small perforations run along the fingers, adding detail without competing with the larger patterned panels. Visible seams outline the sections and emphasize their separate material surfaces. The smooth sheen of the leather contrasts with the busy snakeskin, balancing restrained color with pronounced texture.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Driver Gloves | Diamondback is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of those condition categories is missing. Neither StatTrak nor Souvenir versions exist, and that version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition of an individual pair.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Driver Gloves | Diamondback has the Extraordinary rarity grade. Its chance from the Glove Case is 0.011%, a figure specific to that case rather than a stated probability for the Operation Hydra Case. It is one of 94 glove skins, although that catalog count does not indicate how many Diamondback pairs are available for purchase.

Why it’s Popular:

• Earthy tan and olive-brown colors suit subdued loadouts

• Dense snakeskin panels provide a distinctive textured appearance

• Dark leather fingers contrast with the patterned backs

• Available exteriors accommodate different cosmetic preferences

Price Range

The live ★ Driver Gloves | Diamondback price range is $80.49 to $1,685.67. Treat these bounds as an item-wide guide, not a fixed quote for a particular exterior. Compare Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred listings individually before choosing a pair. The exact float and visible condition help distinguish listings within an exterior, so the condition label should not be the only comparison point. There are no StatTrak or Souvenir alternatives to separate out when checking the CS2 skin price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Glove Case or Operation Hydra Case for a chance to obtain ★ Driver Gloves | Diamondback. Neither case receives new drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. The Glove Case chance for this finish is 0.011%, making a case opening an uncertain route to this specific pair.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed pair of ★ Driver Gloves | Diamondback on the Steam Community Market to choose the finish directly rather than depend on a case result. Compare the listing's exterior, exact float, and visible condition before deciding which pair fits the intended look.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player who owns ★ Driver Gloves | Diamondback to obtain an existing pair. Check the exterior and exact float of the offered gloves, then compare their appearance with the pair being sought. The agreed item should match those details before the trade is accepted.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases receive no new drops, although existing cases can still produce additional gloves when opened. For a buy, sell, or trade decision, compare the exterior and exact float rather than assume every Diamondback pair has the same value. Resale demand and future price trends remain uncertain, so this is not a clearly supported short-term flip.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Distinctive snakeskin panels and contrasting dark leather

• Exterior choices accommodate different cosmetic preferences

• Valve-created finish with an established release history

The investment rating is medium, reflecting retired source cases and a distinctive finish without established evidence of sustained resale demand. Existing cases can still add glove supply, and future resale values remain uncertain. Buyers should prioritize the desired appearance and current listing terms rather than expect investment returns.
