Bowie Knife | Scorched

★ Bowie Knife | Scorched is a CS2 knife skin with a smoky, sun-dappled Spray-Paint finish. Charcoal gray, pale gray and muted beige patches cover the blade, guard and handle. Its subdued palette suits players who prefer textured metal and neutral colors over illustrated designs. All exterior categories are available, alongside StatTrak™ versions, but there is no Souvenir edition.

Description

★ Bowie Knife | Scorched applies a mottled finish to the full-tang, sawback Bowie Knife in CS2. The broad blade provides space for soft-edged patches that resemble alternating areas of sunlight and shadow. A bright silver cutting edge contrasts with the darker painted face, keeping the blade's curved outline distinct. Dark notches along the spine give the weapon a rugged profile without adding a separate illustrated motif. Similar smoky coloring extends onto the guard and handle, making the finish feel consistent across the knife. The restrained palette suits neutral loadouts and players who want surface texture rather than bright artwork. Buyers can choose among every exterior category and decide whether a standard or StatTrak version fits their preferences. Comparing the actual listing image, exterior and float value helps distinguish individual copies before a purchase or trade.

History and Origin

★ Bowie Knife | Scorched was released on February 17, 2016, with the Operation Wildfire Case in the Operation Wildfire update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. Its accompanying flavor text associates the Phoenix with renewal instead of destruction, attributing that idea to Valeria Jenner. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops of the Operation Wildfire Case. As of October 9, 2026, the case remains retired from drops, which distinguishes its original release from its current supply situation. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened, so retirement has not removed the opening route. Finished knives can also be bought directly or traded between players without opening the original case.

Finish Style

Scorched uses the Spray-Paint finish style to create a sun-dappled surface rather than a sharply outlined illustration. Charcoal gray, pale gray and muted beige form the main palette across the blade's face. The patches have soft boundaries, producing a mottled appearance instead of crisp geometric divisions. The spray-painted pattern resembles patches of sunlight and shadow across the surface. A row of dark notches runs along the spine, emphasizing the knife's sawback construction. The guard and handle carry related patches over a predominantly dark gray base. Two round metal fasteners remain visible on the handle, adding small structural details within the painted surface. Silver highlights around the pommel provide another contrast against the darker grip. With no visible text or illustrated motifs, the finish's character comes from its subdued colors, irregular patches and exposed metallic accents.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Bowie Knife | Scorched ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior category is excluded. Standard and StatTrak versions are available; these version choices are separate from the knife's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Bowie Knife | Scorched has the Covert rarity grade. Its specific drop chance from the Operation Wildfire Case is 0.02%, making a case opening an uncertain acquisition route. The case no longer drops, but existing containers can still produce the knife, and finished copies remain obtainable through markets and player trades.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted colors suit neutral loadouts

• Soft-edged patches give the blade a smoky appearance

• Silver cutting edge contrasts with the painted surface

• All exteriors and StatTrak versions offer ownership choices

Price Range

The live ★ Bowie Knife | Scorched price range is $44.88 to $901.55. These bounds cover the whole skin, not fixed prices for particular exteriors or versions. Compare standard and StatTrak listings separately, then check the exterior and exact float value within each group. Inspect the actual knife image rather than assuming every copy looks identical to the page illustration. When comparing CS2 skin prices, match the features of the intended purchase before choosing a listing solely because its asking price is lower.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Wildfire Case

Open the Operation Wildfire Case for a chance to obtain this knife. The case no longer drops, so this route relies on existing containers that can still be bought on the market. The specific chance of receiving Scorched is 0.02%, so opening cannot substitute for choosing a particular listed copy.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy ★ Bowie Knife | Scorched on the Steam Community Market to select an existing knife rather than depend on a case result. Compare the listed exterior and standard or StatTrak version before purchasing. Check the individual float value and inspect the knife to confirm that the copy matches the intended purchase.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with other players to acquire an existing Scorched Bowie Knife. Confirm the exact finish, exterior, float value and StatTrak status before accepting the exchange. Inspect the offered item itself, since its appearance and condition matter more than a general image of the skin.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired case restricts fresh container supply, although unopened stock can still produce additional knives. Buy, sell and trade comparisons should separate standard copies from StatTrak versions and account for exterior and float differences. Without established demand or price-history evidence, future resale performance remains uncertain, so case retirement alone does not establish a profitable trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case source limits fresh container supply

• Distinctive smoky finish across the blade and handle

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different ownership options

• Factory New availability alongside worn exteriors

The investment rating is medium, supported by the retired case source and the range of available ownership options. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, while existing cases can still add finished knives to circulation. This is an editorial opinion, not financial advice or a promise of returns.
