Last week, Ubisoft has announced a new partnership with HitRecords that invites fans to create content for their upcoming game, Watch Dogs Legion. If you’ve never heard about HitRecords before, you should know that it’s a creative collaboration platform that lets users upload their content, including short videos and music.

According to the announcement, Ubisoft is going to select 10 original songs which will be featured in their upcoming Watch Dogs Legion game. Authors of the selected original tracks will share 2000 dollars and get credits in the game. If you’re interested, you can enter the competition following this link.

However, a portion of the community wasn’t very happy about the new Ubisoft and HitRecord collaboration. Game developers called this contest as a “speculative work”. Developers such as Mike Bithell and Rami Ismail have tweeted their concerns regarding the promotion. For the time being Ubisoft haven’t responded to any of the tweets.

Watch Dogs Legion is set to be released on March 6th, 2020. The game should launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
