If you’ve already managed to hit level 60 in World of Warcraft Classic, cleared Molten Core and started your preparations for when the Phase 2 kicks off, you might be tempted to use your World of Warcraft subscription time and dip your toe into the latest World of Warcraft expansion Battle for Azeroth. In this case, we wish you the best of luck in your new adventure – it’s going to be amazing. However, if you don’t want to spend at least a month clearing new zones and doing new quests, Blizzard has provided an alternative option to catch up with the main storyline.

WARNING! Spoilers ahead…

Throughout the whole span of Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard’s cinematic team did a tremendous job capturing the most important bits of lore in glorious CG animation. In all fairness, this is the first time Blizzard tried to step up their game with World of Warcraft storytelling adding CG cinematics all throughout the expansion. Now, as most players are completing their Battle for Azeroth war campaigns, Blizzard released a new supercut of all the CG trailers which has a total runtime of 23 minutes and 49 seconds.

While it doesn’t tell you a complete story of the whole expansion, leaving some major Battle for Azeroth narrative bits for players to find themselves, it’s a nice set-up before the inevitable reveal of the new World of Warcraft patch or even a full-fledged expansion at the BlizzCon 2019.

It’s also worth mentioning that fans of the game – while being critical of the general direction the game took with this expansion – praised the cinematics asking Blizzard to consider making a full-fledged CG movie in the Warcraft universe.

To be frank, we have to agree with their requests. This glorious short proves that Blizzard is more than capable to tell a compelling visual story that can make you burst into tears in 23 minutes. Please Blizzard, full movie or at least a Netflix show. Make it happen!
