In case you missed it, in March Activision has announced their Call of Duty mobile game. Few lucky people got a chance to experience it during the beta test in the summer, however, the beta is now coming to an end and the official launch date for the game is set. Call of Duty: Mobile will release worldwide on October 1st.

This free-to-play mobile version of Call of Duty was developed by none other than Tencent’s Timi Studio. The game is inspired by Modern Warfare and Black ops franchises and features plenty of modes from both major games. Call of Duty: Mobile will feature classic modes such as Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Free-For-All. Even Battle-Royale mode is a part of the mobile game. However, the mobile game won’t have a Zombie Mode.

Call of Duty: Mobile battles will see the return of familiar game maps such as Nuketown, Crash and others. However, these maps were redrawn and rebalanced to accommodate mobile players, but it’s still a nice touch for Call of Duty fans.

We should also add that Call of Duty: Mobile will launch on both versions of mobile software. Android and iOS users should be able to play together which is always welcome.
