How does "Make offer" work?

How does Make offer feature work?

Make offer feature introduces private price negotiation between buyer and seller.

It is based on Eneba Chat and allows buyers to make offers to sellers in the form of chat messages (bubbles).

If the seller accepts the offer, the buyer can then buy the item for the negotiated private price.

I don’t want to receive offers from buyers - how can I turn it off?

This feature is integrated into Eneba chat - if you do not want to receive private price offers, turn off the chat for your listings. You can turn the chat function on or off for specific listings or for all listings at once in Selling Settings

How can I see offers for my listings?

If you receive a private price offer, you will be notified via chat. To make sure your communication with potential buyers is as best as possible, we recommend installing Eneba app and activating push notifications in My Account → Settings.

I accepted the offer, but I have changed my mind. Can I cancel it?

At the moment, canceling a price offer that you previously accepted is not possible. However, you can unpublish the listing - that way, all offers you received will be rejected. If you want to cancel the order after the buyer purchased the item, you can do so manually in the Listings section of your dashboard. Keep in mind that it might result in a negative review from the buyer.

I accepted a private price offer from a buyer, but in the meantime, another buyer bought the item for the regular price. What should I do?

Eneba marketplace works on a “first come, first served” basis, and buyers can purchase your item any time for the regular price. Before making an offer, all buyers are informed about the possibility that someone else might buy it for the regular price. If someone purchases your item while you accept a private price offer from another buyer, that offer gets automatically rejected. As the seller, your responsibility is to send the item to the person who bought it.

I accepted the offer but the buyer did not complete the transaction. What to do?

Keep in mind that once the offer is accepted, the buyer has 72 hours to purchase the item. We notify buyers about your decision via email and mobile app push notifications, and you can always use the chat to reach out to the buyer. Your listing will still remain public after you accept the offer.

Can I accept multiple offers from different buyers for the same listing?

Yes. The more buyers make an offer, the better chances you have to sell your item. Whoever buys the item first will be the person you will send your item to, and offers from other buyers will be automatically rejected.

Can I reserve my listing for one specific buyer I select?

Unfortunately, no. All listings published on Eneba marketplace are available to all buyers.
