Infinity Ward is an American established video game development company which was formed back in 2002 by Jason West, Vince Zampella, and Grant Collier. Infinity Ward games focus on Call of Duty franchise and Activision video game development studio was a major part to their success. Back in 2003, Activision bought 30% of the Infinity Ward shares, and once Infinity Ward released their first WWII shooter Call of Duty, Activision instantly bought the rest of the company. It’s a fact well-worth noting that all 22 original members of Infinity Ward games have previously worked on Medal of Honor series. Another worth-knowing fact is that Infinity Ward’s first Call of Duty title has won over 90 Game of the Year awards as well as over 50 Editor’s Choice Awards. Even though the crew responsible for Infinity Ward games has been completely reshaped and reconstructed, the company continues their work on new Call of Duty titles.
