Nioh 2 was announced back at E3 2018, and we haven’t heard anything about the game ever since. The developer of the game, Team Ninja, finally broke the silence with a new gameplay video and announced that the game will get a closed alpha test on PlayStation 4 starting this Friday

The new trailer shows that, in the Nioh’s sequel, players will get a chance to turn into a demon. The video features three different demon forms with distinct weapons. This might indicate that Nioh 2’s progression might tie into the player’s character development.

While not everyone will get invited to the alpha, random PlayStation 4 gamers who own the first game can expect their invitation soon. The alpha test will start on May 24th and will run until June 2nd.

With E3 2019 approaching, we might expect even more news regarding Nioh 2.
