Some PC gamers were pissed at Microsoft since it released the long-awaited Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC with just a single game. Finally, that rage can be mitigated, since without any big announcements Microsoft added the second title to The Master Chief Collection on PC – Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is now available at its full glory.

According to the news, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will support 4K resolution and will allow you to play the game at 60 frames per second. It will also have some PC-specific features like variable frame rate, native mouse and keyboard support with an option to fully customize your controls, and dynamic display support which will enable you to adapt the game to various monitor sizes. Frankly, all of the options that came with Halo: Reach will also be available for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

If you still don’t own Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC, you will be able to buy it separately or play it via Xbox Game Pass. Owners of The Master Chief Collection will only need to update their current game.

With Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary PC release out in the open, we’re currently sitting at 2 out of 6 games available for Xbox One players. The release schedule implemented by Microsoft is designed to funnel the player base and populate every game in the collection. We wouldn’t want one of the best game series in the world to die soon after it’s launched, would we? We can expect the Halo 2: Anniversary to launch in a few months.
