If you love the post-apocalyptic setting in video games, you might be waiting for the upcoming game from Techland called Dying Light 2. A sequel to the critically acclaimed first game is set to be released in spring 2020. Now, as the release date of the title is getting closer by day, we’ve gathered some details about the game. Dying Light 2’s lead game designer Tymon Smektala shared some bits about the game’s length.

In an interview with Prankster101, Tymon Smektala had this to say:

“It is very hard to measure in an open-world game. How long it actually takes to complete the game because of the things that happen between points A and points B of a quest, so basically it’s up to you how you play it. Also in a game like this, there are a lot of emergencies. Things just happen as you play the game and you have to react to them. But it is 15 to 20 hours for the main story because the whole content I would say is more than 100 hours.”

It’s also worth to keep in mind that Dying Light 2 promises a lot of replayability value since every decision you make in the game influences the further development of the story as well as the game’s world. All in all, it seems that if you decide to pick it up, Dying Light 2 will keep you busy way longer than any other action RPG out there.

If you lived under a rock and didn’t get a chance to learn about Dying Light games, you should know that it’s a first-person zombie apocalypse-themed action role-playing game. In it you fight hordes of zombies, parkour your way through a huge open world and collect materials in order to complete quests, earn experience and learn new moves. We suggest you take a look at the first game in the series – Eneba has a special price for it.
