Yesterday Blizzard shared some long-awaited news about their upcoming game Warcraft 3: Reforged. Seems like the remake of the classic real-time strategy phenomena is almost complete and is ready for some proper testing. Blizzard has announced that this week, Warcraft III: Reforged will kick off its multiplayer beta test which will be open to everyone who preordered the game.

However, it’s worth pointing out that the beta test will have some restrictions, meaning that at first, players will get a chance to play only with two races and two game modes. You will be able to select between orcs or humans and join 1v1 or 2v2 matchmaking. As the release date approaches, we hope we’ll get to try out even more races.

Currently, there’s no word about the single-player campaign which is the main reason why a lot of players are excited about this remake. Blizzard promised to add more scope to the storyline and redo all the classic Warcraft III campaign’s in-game cinematics. We hope to learn more about these changes in the upcoming BlizzCon 2019 event.

It’s hard to anticipate when will the game launch for real, but it seems like Blizzard won’t be delaying their previously announced launch window and will release Warcraft III Reforged by the end of the year. We don’t know about you guys but we’d love to play through it during our holidays. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. And if the delay will be announced during the BlizzCon 2019, there’s always an option to fight the urge with an old version of the game which is still available at our store.
