Yesterday, The Game Awards 2020 ceremony took place and we finally got to see our winners in each of the gaming categories. This year The Game Awards 2020 was streamed live from three cities simultaneously – Los Angeles, Tokyo, and London – and was full of surprising game reveals, featured plenty of awesome musical performances, and invited a bunch of famous guests to do the honors and award the most worthy games.

The most important prize of the evening, as many expected, went to Naughty Dog and The Last of Us Part II which took home the biggest prize of the night. In addition, the game also snagged awards for best direction, narrative, action/adventure game, audio design, and performance for Laura Bailey.

However, The Last of Us Part II wasn’t the only game of the evening that won numerous awards – Final Fantasy VII Remake was awarded for its score and sound and as the best RPG, Hades took home the prizes for the best indie and the best action game while Among Us expectedly won in the best multiplayer category as well as the best mobile game award.
