Next week marks the date of the highly anticipated Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version of the game is coming shortly after and will launch a bit later on February the 1st. To celebrate the release, game publisher Bandai Namco dropped an awesome launch trailer.

Those who previously haven’t heard about Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown should know that it’s an action-packed game dedicated to the fans of the series and newcomers alike. The game is set in 2019 during a fictional conflict between the Osean Federation and the Kindom of Erusea. In the game, you control a pilot, nicknamed ‘Trigger”, who’s enveloped in a plot against the former president.

Besides an awesome story, gameplay wise Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has a variety of options to choose from. Standard campaign mode will be accompanied by Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and all-new Battle Royale modes. In addition, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown features exclusive missions for the PlayStation VR. These missions are exclusive for PlayStation fans for a limited time, however, later they should also be released on PC. So no worries, as you’ll be able to play using your Oculus Rift or HTC Vive gear as well.

Fans of the cult jet-fighting series were waiting for a new game a very long time. Initially set for 2017, the game was delayed multiple times.
