Game developer Cheerdealers teamed up with the publisher Alawar Premium to present a survival game inspired by John Carpenter’s cult horror classic The Thing - Distrust Steam key! Control a group of survivors that crashed in the Arctic! Take refuge at an abandoned base and make sure all the people stay alive by satisfying all the basic needs such as hunger, sleep, and, most importantly, heat. Failure to do so will end with your characters gaining status effects that essentially make them lose their marbles. Be cautious though - just like in the movie, there is something else in the Arctic beside these humans in Distrust key!

Survive at all cost

Can you stay alive and sane in the long dark polar night? While sleeping is a necessity you’ll have to juggle with other tasks in Distrust Steam key, it attracts alien beings known as Anomalies. They will not hesitate to kill and significantly set back your progress. This, coupled with fatigue and a seemingly never-ending night, will eventually drive anyone mad. Will you reach a point where you can’t tell what is real and what is a hallucination? Test your sanity and overcome the severe climate with Distrust (PC) key!

Distrust features:

• Procedural generation. The layout of the map is generated by the computer with every new session. Solve puzzles to unlock new zones and beat the game after completing all 6.
• 15 survivors to choose from. Initially, players will choose 2 characters out of a roster of three - unlock up to 15 unique characters, each with their distinct skills and abilities.
• Co-op mode. Venture into the freezing plains together with a friend.
• Mysterious anomalies. Sometimes they’re faster than light, sometimes they crawl extra slowly to get near enough to pounce. Why are they here?
• Endless night and extreme climate. Gather supplies, craft tools, and search for supply crates to survive.
• Altered perception of reality. There will never be enough sleep - reality and dreams become a confusing blur. How long can you stay sane?
