Fans of the DC universe have been eagerly waiting to learn some new details about their favorite franchises. On Friday, Warner Bros hosted a special DC FanDome stream in which they revealed a bunch of new DC related projects. Among many movies and TV series, there were a few games too. One, in particular, caught our eye – Rocksteady Studios released a brand new trailer for their new game and a follow-up to the Batman: Arkham series called Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.

Here’s a full presentation featuring Creative Director at Rocksteady Studios, Sefton Hill:

Apparently, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be a continuation of the Arkhamverse and will take place after the events of Arkham Knight. As the title suggests this will be a new game that focuses on DC’s misfit heroes and will allow players to indulge in some self-righteous chaos controlling one of four game’s characters. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will kick off with Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark. However, we might expect even more DC characters to come to the game sometime in the future.

Rocksteady already confirmed that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be a four-player co-op multiplayer game where players will have to work together in order to survive and, well… kill the Justice League. However, having other players by your side won’t be mandatory. During the presentation Sefton Hill revealed that co-op in the game will be a dynamic one, meaning that players will be able to switch between single-player and multiplayer and game’s characters at any time.

It’s looking like an interesting project which might take a while to get it right. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is scheduled for 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
