Ubisoft shared quite a lot of news in its latest Ubisoft Forward presentation. One particularly interesting bit of information was dedicated to a classic beat-em-up title Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Apparently, the game will return with a new Complete Edition that is set to launch this holiday season, just in time for the 10th anniversary of the title.

Why is it important? Well, we should remind you that the game was delisted from all stores a few years after its launch. This means that a lot of current players never got a chance to play a game based on a popular comic book that later even got a movie of the same name.

Here’s a trailer:

If you are new, you should know that back in the day Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was dubbed as one of the best 2D arcade-style beat-em-up games around. It was praised by many fans of the genre as a great video game adaptation to the popular franchise. In the game, you could play as Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Knives Chau, Stephen Stills, and various other characters. By playing through the game’s levels, you had to level up your chosen character and learn new awesome abilities, unlock secret items and modes, and summon powerful allies to defeat the League of Ramona’s Evil Exes.

As suggested in its title, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Complete Edition will launch with all of the previously released DLCs including add-on packs that added new characters to the game. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Complete Edition will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Currently, there’s no news about the next-generation release.
