Fallout 76 Watelanders update is just around the corner and we already wrote in detail about some things to come with it. Wastelanders is set for April 14th release but until then, you can ditch Bethesda launcher and re-download your game from Steam. If you already own Fallout 76 then you can snatch the Steam version for free.

All you have to do in order to get your Steam version of Fallout 76 is to connect your Bethesda account to your Steam before the release of Wastelanders. This also includes new purchases made until that exact date. And boy do we have a great price for it…

Why should you make the transfer? Well, the main reason is that having Fallout 76 on Steam should make the process of updating your game or purchasing any of its future DLCs a lot easier. Furthermore, we bet you have a lot more friends on Steam than on your Bethesda account.

Lastly, we should mention that during the official Steam release of Fallout 76, the Fallout franchise is getting another promotion for a limited time. Everyone who picks up a Steam copy of Fallout 76 between April 14 and April 28th will get Fallout Classic Collection for free. This collection includes the original Fallout and Fallout 2 alongside Fallout Tactics. Not a bad deal even if you miss your window to pick up the game right now…
