Yesterday we wrote about Xbox Games With Gold offerings for October. Today we got some news from PlayStation. As always, PlayStation Plus members will get two awesome games to play during October and, as expected, one of them is a very suitable addition for Halloween. Starting on October 6th, PS Plus members will be able to download Vampyr and Need For Speed: Payback.
Vampyr
Dontnod, a studio mainly known as a developer of Life is Strange game, last year released an intriguing action RPG set in the year 1918. The game tells an interesting story which is all about the decisions you make. Narrative choices you make can result in hefty consequences and that’s reason enough to give Vampyr a try. The game was well-received by critics and gamers, so it’s a perfect pick if you’re looking for an interesting game for Halloween.
Need For Speed: Payback
If you don’t care about Halloween and all the horror titles you can play, PlayStation Plus has a different kind of game for this October. Need For Speed: Payback was released in 2017 and got mixed reviews from the racing fans. Some loved it, some found it a bit too arcady and unrealistic. In any case, the game is free for now and you can make up your own mind about it. If you’re a long-time fan of the Need For Speed franchise, you will find something you like about this title.
