As soon as the Game Awards ceremony was over, fighting game genre fans started waiting for mid-January. NetherRealm had promised to reveal their latest Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay during a community event. Finally, the day has come and Mortal Kombat fans across the globe have the chance to feast their eyes upon the latest instalment in their favorite series.

To no one’s surprise, Mortal Kombat 11 characters will have custom variations coming to the game after a successful test in Injustice 2. Players will be able to create their own looks for their favorite fighters. The developer has also revealed the story’s prologue and a short video featuring some over the top game’s Fatalities.

During the community event, we also got at least an approximate release date. NetherRealm announced that Mortal Kombat 11 will have an online beta which will launch across all platforms on March 28th, while the full game comes shortly after on April 23. Mortal Kombat 11 will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, while Nintendo Switch fans will have to wait till May.
