It’s Microsoft’s tradition to announce their free Xbox Games with Gold list on the last day of the month. Today is the day! Check out your awesome freebies for June.

NHL 19

EA Sports’ NHL needs no introduction. It’s a hockey game series known by everyone and the latest entry in the legendary series will help you to stay chill during the first month of summer. While sports games might not be the thing that every gamer can enjoy, NHL 19 is a definite star in the list of games for June. It will be available to download for free from June 1st to June 30th.

Rivals of Aether

If you like fighting games you’ll find hours of joy in the Rivals of Aether. It’s an indie fighting game set in a world where warring civilizations summon the powers of elements. The game features playful but really beautiful pixel-art styled graphics, engaging gameplay, and tons of modes to enjoy solo or with a friend. Rival of Aether was released 2 years ago but is still very popular to this date. It will be available to download for free starting June 16th.

Portal: Still Alive

Portal is probably one of the best puzzle games ever created. Portal: Still Alive is the definitive version of the game featuring base game and 14 brand new bonus puzzles to challenge even the most skilled test subjects. Never played it? Now is your chance to start thinking with portals. The game will be available for free from June 1st to June 15th. While the game is designed for Xbox 360, you’ll be able to play it on your Xbox One as well thanks to backward compatibility.

Earth Defence Force 2017

Another Xbox  360 title that is also available for Xbox One users is Earth Defence Force 2017. The game was originally released in 2006 as a vision for the future. Now we can definitely say that the first contact hasn’t happened yet, however, the game is still worth playing if you’re into third-person shooters. Earth Defence Force 2017 also features co-op mode if you’re looking for a game to play through with your friend. Earth Defence Force 2017 will become available starting June 16th.
