Ready… Set… GAME! Sony is starting a new month announcing a new set of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Last month we had a chance to experience The Surge and Conan Exiles for free. You still have some time to grab these games, but on May 7th, the two new titles will take their place.

What Remains of Edith Finch

What Remains of Edith Finch is an adventure game developed by Giant Sparrow. It’s a great story driven game which received a lot of praise upon its release in 2017. It won British Academy Games Award for Best Game 2017, as well as the Best Narrative category at both the 2018 Game Developers Choice Awards and The Game Awards 2017, among numerous other awards and nominations.

In the game, you’ll explore the Finch family house and the surrounding wilderness from all around. By exploring, you’ll encounter various, often surreal scenes from the past. This includes life and death of Finch family members, accompanied by a masterful narration. If you’ve ever doubted that video games can be considered as a form of art, What Remains of Edith Finch will definitely change your mind.

Overcooked!

Overcooked! needs no introduction. This is a game which brought local co-op back to the spotlight and gathered numerous awards including 2016s Indie Game of the Year. Last year, the game even received a sequel which is essentially just a bigger and better version of its predecessor.

If you’ve never had the pleasure to play Overcooked before, now’s the perfect moment. It’s an adorable co-op cooking simulator which challenges players to multitask and coordinate their actions in the most absurd places possible. It’s a perfect pick if you have some friends by your side.

Like always, in addition to the two free games, PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get special discounts for quite a few other games on the PlayStation platform, and if your PlayStation Plus subscription is coming to a close, renew it cheaper right in our store!
