As the release date of highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 11 comes ever closer, NetherRealm Studios is revealing even more details about the game. Today, the developers revealed yet another character for the game’s roster, meet Cetrion.

Cetrion is holding an Elder God title and seems to be on par with other Earthrealm guardians such as Raiden himself. For combat, Cetrion is using her elemental powers – the trailer features her summoning vines and roots from the ground, conjuring up rocks to punch her enemies, and releasing lava from under their feet. The trailer also reveals one of Cetrion’s fatality moves which allows her to grow in size and cast a beam of energy onto her opponent.

Cetrion is the second entirely new playable character announced for the Mortal Kombat 11. Until now, Geras, a servant of MK11’s boss Kronika, was the only NetherRealm’s confirmed new character to be in the roster. Fans speculate that Kronika will join the roster too but it’s yet to be confirmed by the developer. You can check the rest of Mortal Kombat 11’s roster in our previous blog post.

Mortal Kombat 11 is going to be released on April 23rd for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Nintendo Switch version is scheduled to be released in May. You can pre-order the game on Eneba store right now!
