After a successful Resident Evil 2 remake debuted on PC and consoles a few months ago, Capcom had some things to consider. The success showed that there is a precedent to reboot old games, so the company has been thinking about rebuilding other Resident Evil series games. The next in line might be Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

After the launch of Resident Evil 2 Remake, fans of the series started speculating on whether Resident Evil 3: Nemesis will get a new version too. Then, Capcom responded with confirmation that this is possible if that’s what the fans really want. Now, it seems like they do want it, so the company has apparently started teasing the game prior to its announcement.

The first potential tease came on the 15th of April in the form of a screenshot featuring Jill Valentine standing in the corner.

Only a day after, on the 16th of April, another tweet popped-up, which shows Claire Redfield standing next to a destroyed wall. The caption next to a screenshot asks fans what could do such a thing instead of attributing it to the Resident Evil 2’s villain Mr. X. Could it be Nemesis?

Frankly, we just don’t know, but having in mind previous communication from Capcom, we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s really the tease for the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake. E3 2019 is just around the corner so we might as well expect some surprises.
