Halloween themed events are fairly popular in other games-as-a-service titles, so Borderlands 3 developer Gearbox Software decided to arrange their own celebration. Starting October 24th, Borderlands 3 players will be able to participate in a Bloody Harvest event, which previously served as an annual Borderlands 2 celebration.

Bloody Harvest on Borderlands 3 will be free for everyone, however, in order to participate in all the festivities, you’ll need to unlock Sanctuary III, where you’ll find a new NPC named Maurice. After speaking with this lizard guy, you will travel to a new location called Heck and will play through repeatable missions in order to farm some Hecktoplasm, a new event currency. As always, there are a lot of rewards to get for your Hecktoplasm. Players will be able to earn some new seasonal gear, new guns and even a couple of new achievements.

Bloody Harvest won’t be a short event, so you’ll have plenty of time to get the reward you desire the most. While it begins on October 24th, the event concludes on December 5th which means that you’ll have more than a month to complete all the challenges.
